4 x Apple Turnovers (bake at home)

We are making our own apple filling from fresh and tasty apples, and goes in to our own delicious puff pastry. Perfect winter treat! Nice with cream or ice-cream.

How to Bake

1. Defrost the turnovers  in the fridge maximum 24 hours or couple hours on the kitchen bench 
2. Lay them on a lined baking tray
3. Preheat the oven to 180°C, 
4. Bake fan force for around 25 to 30 minutes until they are golden brown.
5. Turnover can also be baked from frozen in the oven at 180°C for 35 -40 minutes long to make sure it is cooked all the way in.
6. A metal skewer or knife can be put into the centre and left for 15 seconds and if the tip is too hot to touch when removed, it is ready or if you have a thermometer check it is 72°C in the centre.
7. Let it rest 5 minutes on a cooling tray and dust with some icing sugar before you enjoy, bon appetit!
